Every time I read a book by Mhairi McFarlane, I always end up with dozens of lines highlighted. Here’s one that spoke to me from her most recent book. It’s so simple yet there’s so much embedded into this sentence. Endings aren’t always nicely wrapped in a bow. We’re often left with unanswered questions.
