Last week’s dose of ’90s nostalgia made me think of Sam Hunt’s “Breaking Up Was Easy in the 90s.” I loved Hunt’s debut album “Montevallo” with its incorporation of hip-hop and country. His second album is similar but I only liked some tracks, such as this one here. Was breaking up easier in the 90s? Maybe? I guess no social media meant a smaller likelihood of seeing each other…unless you broke up in a small town. (heh…) Thoughts?
