I needed to interrupt my 90s nostalgia for the most recent song I have on repeat. This song deserves to be shared far and wide. It’s the 80s beat I love. I’ve enjoyed Platt’s entire Reverie album.

I hate cheating. I hate love triangles. Yet, I find myself making so many exceptions for Kennedy Ryan. Case in point, Block Shot. Banner is in relationship when she meets Jared again. They have history, but he broke her heart in college, and he’s never forgotten her. Try as she might, he’s been hard to forget too. Her books are emotional, poetic, and leave me in book comas more often than not. It’s #2 in the Hoops series but can be read as a standalone.
