Fletcher is a new-to-me artist who became part of my pandemic/stay-at-home soundtrack. While “If You’re Gonna Lie” was my introduction to her, her newest single felt so timely as certain parts of life were supposed to go back to how it used to be. The lyrics also felt so personal to me and my own journey.

I can’t erase all the things that I’ve done

Gin’s Tonic took me by surprise, and I completely adored it the first time I read it. It’s a journey about coming to terms with the past and learning to live with loss, understanding that moving on doesn’t mean replacing those you loved. The book is about Gin healing. (Review here)
