“On the Honey Side is as heartwarming as it is hilarious. It blends the humor of matchmaking with the heat of a slow burn for a cocktail I can’t resist and will beg for time and time again. Sweet, touching, and subtly steamy, it was the perfect romantic comedy to get lost in at the end of a hectic day. An easy five – star and must read of 2022!” – bestselling author Kandi Steiner

DESCRIPTION
No one can ever have Keaton Meyer.
Least of all me.
The brooding construction manager is a man of myth and legend, rarely seen in the wild. Once upon a time, he was the star quarterback, the smiling homecoming king, royalty in our small town. Until tragedy struck. And then he disappeared completely.
Now he’s resurfaced, and I can’t keep my eyes off him.
He’s an island surrounded by lava, bound by a desert and guarded by dragons. I don’t stand a sunshine’s chance in a hail storm.
Our siblings disagree and are out to prove it, nudging us int o each other in the hopes we’ll fall. But with our town in tumult and the two of us firmly in the middle, nothing between us is easy. And when he’s faced with an impossible decision, I learn the truth of what I already knew.
No one can have Keaton Meyer.
And I have the broken heart to prove it.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life — a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

**I was provided a copy of the book by the publisher and author. I voluntarily read and reviewed it. All opinions are my own.**
I met the Blum sisters in Friends with Benedicts and they were a lot of fun. I was excited to see Hart’s small town romance series continue with them. I didn’t have an opportunity to read the first book, For Love or Honey, but it doesn’t take away from On the Honey Side. This might be one of my favorite books by Hart.
The strength of family bonds is a highlight, especially since the siblings are the meddling type. Daisy and Keaton dance around each other, hiding their attraction as best as they can. Leave it to their concerned siblings to try to get them to do more than just dance. The Meyer brothers and Blum sisters had me chuckling. I loved how much they cared about one another but even more how much they liked to exact their revenge.
The book resonated with me also because of how it deals with grief. Daisy and Keaton’s attraction to each other is strengthened through the shared experiences of losing a loved one. Ultimately, this is what had me cheering for their romance. Hart has a gift for putting grief into words, and she perfectly captures the pain and the fear concerning moving on as well as the courage needed.
If you enjoy small town romances, On The Honey Side will not disappoint. It’s about two individuals who are perfect for each other but have to learn how to be brave enough to let the other in. There’s a lot of heart hidden underneath the humor. You’ll laugh and swoon at the romance, but you’ll also be deeply touched by the conversations between Daisy and Keaton.
