Prompts: Do you like romances with happy endings? Do you think that all romances should have happy endings? Why or why not? What are some of your favorite romances with Happily Ever Afters? (Dedra @ A Book Wanderer)

This is a topic that I’ve run into a lot, especially on Twitter. Last year, there were at least two times that I can remember when my feed was inundated with tweets about this very topic. I am very much on the side that books that are romances should have happy endings. My expectation when I read a book categorized as a romance novel is there will be a happy ending. The journey to that happy ending might be filled with pain, tears, laughter, and so on, but I know the end will at least be happy.
