I signed up for Reindeer Readathon, but didn’t post a TBR because I was deep in a blogging slump. Once the slump was finally coming to an end, the month was nearly halfway through. I also decided it might work better for me if I didn’t create a TBR. I’m a mood reader but will try to tie myself to a readathon TBR and end up feeling bad when I don’t read many of those on the list.

Not only did I do surprisingly well, I didn’t feel bad about not reading a book on the TBR because there wasn’t one. I read whatever I felt like reading and then tried to see if it fit into one of the prompts. Not having a readathon TBR was freeing and greatly diminished the pressure I often place on myself with readathons.
