Hello everyone! I was tagged by Jenny from JenJenReviews back in February. It’s been a bit hectic with work back in person, so I’m finally catching up on some tags.

This tag was started by LindsayHeartsBooks on YouTube.

You have to get rid of all your books and you can only keep ONE from each of these genres: Contemporary, fantasy, nonfiction and one other of your choosing. What books do you keep?

WHAT?! Only one from each? I’m going to go with comfort reads that I’ve read many times over with the exception of my non-fiction pick. I tend to stay away from non-fiction, but don’t think I would mind something on statistics or research methods.

You’re at the book store and you can hear a teenager telling their mother they don’t like to read, but their mother insists they pick something. You walk over and recommend a book you think is great for people who aren’t big on reading – what book is it?

I’d go with a graphic novel as Jenny suggested as well. I don’t read many graphic novels, but I do know there is a Pride and Prejudice manga. I’m going with that so I can (selfishly) spread my love of Austen and romance novels.

You’re not feeling yourself and need a pick me up. Which book do you read to put yourself in a good mood?

Today Tonight Tomorrow by Rachel Lynn Solomon (my review) remains one of my favorites. Not only will I be in a better mood, but I’ll also be feeling nostalgic after.

You go back in time for a day to your teenage years. What book would you most likely have caught yourself reading?

I don’t think there would be a specific book, but definitely anything about dragons. Dragons remain one of my favorite magical creatures, and I devoured nearly anything with dragons in it during my teens. Here are two books I loved.

Your friend surprises you with a four day trip and you have one hour to pack. Which book do you bring to read on the way?

I would bring my current read, which is Vela Roth’s Blood Mercy (Blood Grace #1).

Your house has been robbed! Don’t worry – everyone is safe but your bookshelf has been raided. What’s the book you really hope is safe?

I’d be worried about all my books. I have a few that I searched far and wide for copies of, and I’d also be worried about my Green Rider series.

Your friend borrows a book and returns it in awful condition. Do you A) Just pretend you haven’t noticed, B) Ask them to repurchase it, or C) Secretly do the same thing to something of theirs?

I wouldn’t pretend that I didn’t notice it, but I’d tell them that it was okay. Knowing my friends, they would have called as soon as they realized something happened to the book and would have felt terrible.
